Tope, not to be brought Ashore/Killed.
Weights to be calculated according to the following formula, witnessed/photographed, and returned*
1) Measure the Girth (in front of Dorsal-Fin) in Inches.
2) Measure length of fish from tip of nose to fork of Tail.
3) Square the Girth measurement, and multiply it by the Length measurement.
4) Divide the result by 800 to give the fishes weight in Lb’s.
*Anglers should be aware that there is a national restriction on landing tope caught from a boat, which includes kayaks, by rod and line. Any boat-caught tope are legally required to be released as soon as possible after capture. Details of the Tope (Prohibition of Fishing Order) 2008
